Refund Policy

How refunds work at Partiturmaker: our 3-day goodwill refund for credit packs and subscriptions, and the statutory right of withdrawal for EU and UK consumers.
Sep 30, 2026

Draft: the bracketed fields must be completed by the operator before publication.

This policy applies to purchases on partiturmaker.com made by [[OPERATOR_NAME]] ("we", "us"): subscriptions (monthly or yearly) and one-time credit packs. Prices are in US dollars and payments are processed by Stripe.

Goodwill refund

Independently of any statutory rights, we offer the following:

  • If you ask for a refund within 3 days of the purchase, and no more than 20 credits of that purchase have been used, we refund the purchase.
  • Credits that were granted with a purchase and used count towards the 20 credits. Welcome credits are not part of a purchase.
  • This applies to subscription payments (the first payment and renewals) and to credit packs.
  • Refunds are paid back to the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take several days until the amount is shown.
  • When a refund is granted, the remaining credits of that purchase are removed from your account, and for a subscription the renewal is cancelled.

This goodwill rule is voluntary and does not limit your statutory rights, in particular the right of withdrawal described below and any rights you have if a service is defective.

Failed runs

If a server-side run fails on our side, the credits for it are returned automatically. You do not need to request a refund for that.

Subscriptions

You can cancel a subscription at any time in the billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you can use the subscription credits until then. Beyond the goodwill rule and your statutory rights, we do not refund partial periods.

How to request a refund

Send an e-mail to [[OPERATOR_EMAIL]] with

  • the e-mail address of your account, and
  • the date of the purchase.

Right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU and UK

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a contract for a purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise the right, tell us clearly (for example by e-mail to [[OPERATOR_EMAIL]]) that you withdraw. You may use the model withdrawal form, which you can find in the German version of this page ("Widerruf und Erstattung") and which you may translate; using it is not mandatory. It is enough to send the notice before the period ends.

If you withdraw, we reimburse all payments we received from you without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method.

If you asked us to begin the service during the withdrawal period, you owe us a proportionate amount for what has been provided up to the moment you told us about the withdrawal.

For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium (such as credits that have been used to generate or convert a score), the right of withdrawal expires once we have begun performance with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal when performance has begun. We ask for this consent and acknowledgement at checkout.

Full details are in the withdrawal notice in the German version of this page.
